Description
1010W S-band (2450 MHz) magnetron for microwave heating
2M244 is a 2450 MHz continuous wave magnetron designed for microwave heating applications.
It has packaged Magnet & can deliver the output upto 1010W with matched load.
During operation, it require the airflow in the fins to maintain the temperature of the magnetron.
It has tungsten filament which is very brittle material therefore it is advisable to avoid any mechanical shock to the magnetron.
The magnetron should be mounted in vertical position. Its antenna should always be in either upward or downward direction.
It is advisable to supply constant current at the anode of the magnetron as magnetron anode current is very sensitive to the anode voltage fluctuations. A full wave rectifier or voltage-doubler is recommended for anode supply.
It is available in following mounting positions
– Connector & mounting are not in the direction of airflow
